GENERAL

  • Optimized and reduced code.
  • Added an update and install verifier.
  • Frostbinder and Pyromancer have swapped tiers.
  • Reverted to old heartbeat sound effects and improved method.
  • Class abilities are no longer limited by teams provided by ZealotCraft.
  • All scoreboard objectives now begin with 'zc.' to allow for maximum compatibility with other datapacks.


ITEMS

  • Unclaimed traps can now be placed with a simple right click. Claim a trap by crouching over it.
    -Now respects teams and owners
    -Improved mechanics of multiple traps
    -Explosive Trap now respects mobGriefing rules
    -Placing a redstone torch on the same block disables it.


MOVEMENT

  • Added visual effect to sliding.
  • Changed evade and slide effects.
  • Optimized fall damage mechanics.
  • Various improvements to clamber mechanics.
  • Crawling can now be activated without sliding
  • Nerfed swim speed boost for the Trecker perk..
  • Added a sound effect for when dive abilities recharge.
  • Incorporated a smarter algorithm to clear hover and glide effects.
  • If timed correctly, charged jump allows for a second jump with increased jump height.
  • Boost/hover/glide effects can be cleared early by looking down while not sprinting or crouching.


CLASSES

HUNTER

  • Added charged jump.


MYSTIC

  • Removed conjure and support abilities. Will be added back in the future in a new form!
  • Lightning Blast: Dropping your sword sends forth a spark of energy that summons lightning on contact with blocks or combatants.
  • Singularity: While holding a sword in your offhand slot, enemies you're facing will be pulled into
    a singularity ahead of you.

    BRAWLER
  • Improved boost mechanics.
  • Impact: Now works in creative. Has a more consistent activation but will only activate when opponents are within 7.5 blocks.

 

ASSASSIN

  • After throwing your sword, any sword in your offhand slot is immidiately transferred to your mainhand.
  • Thrown swords will now return to your open hand when holding a sword in another slot.

 

FROSTBINDER

  • Changed sound effects for the destruction of glacier tombs and spikes.
  • Ice Wall: Dropping your sword creates a temporary ice barrier in front of you unless crouching and looking down.
  • Winter's Wrath: Reduced effective range.

 

WARRIOR

  • Empowered: Increased detection range. Enhanced detection of enemies directly ahead of you.

 

REVENANT

  • Phase: Now only activates on slide or evade and if there is a block to land on after teleporting.
  • Whirlwind: Altered sound effects. Increased resistance. While lunging, any nearby arrows and fireballs are destroyed.
  • Shadow Dash: Added resistance. Evade while shadow dash is active now extends it's effects. Slide now activates Shadow Dash silently for a short period.
  • Vitality: Reduced saturation boost.

 

PYROMANCER

  • Added Charged Jump.
  • Added Glide: While sprinting and in the air you fall slower.
  • Diving onto lava now creates a magma platform.
  • Changed dive sound effects.
  • Roaring Flames: Combined Flaming Fist and Incendiary Arrow into a single skill. Increased
    probabilities of lighting an enemy on fire on hit.
  • Fireball: Dropping your sword summons a small fireball that damages enemies and lights them on
    fire. While in the air, dropping your sword summons an explosive fireball.
  • Inhale: You and nearby allies are granted fire resistance. Any arrows in the direction you're facing will burn up over fire unless sneaking or holding a bow. When burning enemies are nearby you are granted strength, resistance, and regeneration. Kills grant saturation.
  • Exhale: Now activates on charged jump. Reduced the effective range. Requires opponents to be nearby.


PATCHES

  • Boost mechanics would deactivate when too close to the ground on the Brawler and Frostbinder class.
  • Players were able to teleport into leaves which could make them trapped in adventure mode.
  • Fixed numerous bugs where different traps would affect members of the same team.
  • Clamber mechanics would activate improperly on the Warrior and Frostbinder class.
  • GrappleHook would not activate correctly on Mystic, Frostbinder, and Pyromancer.
  • Brawler's double jump would not activate when looking at low angles.
  • Pyromancer's dive ability would stutter on activation.
  • Brawler's Impact attack wouldn't damages enemies.
  • Revenant's Shadow Hit ability would not activate.
  • Grav Trap would not activate on opponents.
  • Heartbeat effect would spam when dead.
