To give plants more individuality and to make them more true to their inspirations.
Description
The main idea of this WIP texture pack is to give plants in minecraft more of their unique attributes and features to distinguish them amongst themselves or to make them stand out more.
I decided to make this texture pack after seeing that all of wood textures in 1.16 (excluding birch and the fungi) were a recolored pattern of one another making the plants feel less alive to me.
Currently I only have the bark on the logs finished, but I do plan to
- Improve on the current crops
- Make watermelon and pumpkin distinguishable
- Add "fluffy" leave textures
- Add ambient plant variations (more grasses, tall grasses, ferns, and dead bush variations)
- Add bark variations
- Improve leaves and add fruit variations in
There will be variations of some textures as I know no everyone will like them such as the acacia texture which was inspired by younger acacia trees. These variations will be separate texture packs that you simply put at a higher priority than the base texture.
