Mallangimals is a simple resource pack that makes mobs in Minecraft cuter.

No OptiFine or ETF+EMF required!

 

This resource pack gives a cute makeover to:

  • Chickens
  • Eggs: item texture(Egg, Brown, Cold) 
  • Pigs
  • Cows
  • Red and Brown mooshrooms
  • Sheep
  • Horse  
  • Mule
  • Donkey
  • Saddles: Pig, Horse, Mule, Donkey 
  • Squid & Glow Squid
  • Turtle
  • Dolphin
  • Fish & Item Textures 

    - Cod: entity texture, item textures (Cod, Cooked Cod, Bucket of Cod)
    - Salmon:  entity texture, item textures (Salmon, Cooked Salmon, Bucket of Salmon)
    - Pufferfish: entity texture, item textures (Pufferfish, Bucket of Pufferfish

  • Frogs
  • Tadpole: Entity, Bucket of Tadpole item texture
  • Frogspawn: Block texture
  • Slime
  • Magma Cube

More mobs will be added over time — the ultimate goal is to turn every mob in Minecraft into a Mallangimal!

 

Version: Java Edition 1.21.5 ~ 1.21.7 (also available on 1.21.8~1.21.9*)
Required mods: None

* Copper golem will be added on next update

 

 
How to apply the Cold Chicken Add-on:

    1. Go to the following folder:
      resourcepacks/mallangimals_JE_beta-0.3-resourcepack-1.21.7/assets/minecraft/textures/entity/chicken

    2. In this folder, you’ll find 4 files. look for:
      cold_chicken.png and cold_chicken_nocrest.png

    3. Delete cold_chicken.png, or move it to another folder as a backup.

    4. Rename cold_chicken_nocrest.png to cold_chicken.png

 

Mallangimals shows up properly on Xaero96’s Minimap Mod too!

I really love this mod, so I wanted to show how well it works together with my pack.

Mallangimals 0.4 Update

🐎Don't Spare the HORSES

7 horse colors, 4 coat patterns, plus mule and donkey are trotting in! 🐴✨

 

Newly Added Textures:

  • Horse: All horse colors(7), patterns(4), and saddle
  • Donkey: Entity texture, saddle
  • Mule:  Entity texture, saddle
  • Pig Saddle

Zombie Horse and Skeleton Horse will be included in the Monsters Update. Please hang tight until then!
