Heretical aims to replicate Minecraft's current art style while taking occasional liberties for a more consistent and professional feel.

Yes, yet another Vanilla 32x pack for you to test out, as mundane as it can be to see the same concept over and over again, Heretical does what it can to stand out in its appearance and its approach to up scaling the textures. Being a newer pack, Heretical bases all of its textures off of the textures created by Jasper Boerstra for the 1.14 update.

PBR support (RGB = Roughness, Reflectivity, Brightness + Parallax mapping)
Normal maps
Textures that'll knock your socks off, or at the very least loosen them so you'll have to pull them back up.

You may use this resource pack in your YouTube videos. Please link to the resource pack if you can.

Modification for personal use is allowed, "add-on" packs are also allowed (Please do not include unmodified textures from heretical in said add-on packs)

If you want to use this resource pack for a server or for marketing material, please give proper attribution and a link to this page.

Currently this project will remain a one woman team until it releases. This is to ensure a consistent approach to the art style.

Development is currently very slow due to preoccupation with work, but slow steady updates are being made - JadeMonsuta, October 2020

=Todo List=

Priorities currently are finishing paintings and blocks, from there, items and particles will be worked on. Entities will be finished last. Some textures such as dirt and water will be redone to actually look like what they're supposed to be.

Once the main pack is complete, it will be ported to older versions of Minecraft, namely 1.12, 1.8, Beta 1.7.3, Alpha 1.1.2, and Classic 0.30. After that, an Optifine exclusive version may go into development. Please be patient and give feedback as to what blocks/items you want prioritized in the comments.
