Description
[MORE SONGS WILL BE ADDED ALONGSIDE MODPACK UPDATES]
Everlasting Winter OST is a fully custom ambient soundtrack designed for cold, hopeless, horror-flavored Minecraft worlds. It replaces the in-game music with slow, unsettling, atmospheric tracks that sit quietly in the background while you freeze, starve, and try not to look over your shoulder.
This pack is built to pair especially well with Primal Winter, Cold Sweat, horror mods, and hardcore survival packs where silence and distance feel as dangerous as any mob.
“No bombastic orchestras. No EDM drops. Just the sound of a world that wants you gone.”
WHAT THIS PACK DOES
– Replaces in-game music with a curated ambient horror soundtrack:
• Overworld exploration (day and night)
• Frozen peaks, snowy biomes, deep caves
• Nether and other “hellish” spaces
• The End and late-game encounters
• Underwater ambience
• Credits / epilogue
– Keeps your existing main menu music
• This pack does NOT change the main menu music, so you can safely use FancyMenu or other menu music solutions.
– Designed as background, not foreground
• Slow evolving pads, distant choirs, icy textures
• Very minimal percussion or none at all
• Subtle tension that supports gameplay instead of drowning it
TRACK MOODS (EXAMPLES)
Some of the included themes:
– “Pale Sun Over Snow”
Quiet, lonely overworld wandering under a cold sky.
– “Eternal Winter: Beneath the Frozen Veil”
Slowly rising dread as you push deeper into the wastes.
– “The White Watches Back”
Night ambience that makes every tree silhouette suspicious.
– “Frozen Depths: Deathly Choir”
Echoing, choral horror for Nether / deep void spaces.
– “The Winter Remembers”
Heavy, oppressive tension for bosses or late-game End encounters.
– “Last Remnants of Myself”
Introspective, underwater or deep cave stillness.
– “Last Survivor’s Vows”
Somber credits / epilogue track for when the run finally ends.
All tracks are made to loop cleanly and stay mostly out of your way while still shaping the mood.
PERFECT FOR…
– Horror survival modpacks set in:
• Perpetual winter
• Frozen wastelands
• Haunted ruins and decayed cities
– Packs using mods like:
• Primal Winter
• Cold Sweat
• Born in Chaos
• The Graveyard
• Apotheosis
• Other horror and difficulty mods
– Streamers and YouTubers who want a consistent mood without the default Minecraft soundtrack (always double-check your platform’s rules yourself).
RECOMMENDED SETTINGS
– Turn MUSIC volume up (around 20–30% works well).
– Keep Weather, Blocks, and Ambient/Environment audible so the soundscape still feels like Minecraft, just colder and wrong.
– For the purest experience, disable other music packs that override the same events.
COMPATIBILITY
– Client-side only: safe to use on servers as long as the Minecraft version matches.
– Built and tested for Minecraft 1.20.1.
– Compatible with FancyMenu and other main-menu mods (this pack doesn’t touch main menu music).
– Works alongside most atmosphere/sound mods (Sound Physics, Presence Footsteps, etc.) as long as they don’t override the same music events.
