After these two teensy tiny tweaks Askew should work like a dream!!
It’s finally here! Minecraft Askew is the FIRST resource pack to completely overhaul the iconic game’s audio! Mobs, Blocks, Items, UI, a bunch of stuff! And a full 3 ½ hour OST! I know we love Vanilla, but it might be time to give Chocolate a try ;)!

The resolution options are all multiples of 8 (8x,16x,32x,64x, etc) but Askew!!!! Is!!!!! Strange!!!!!
Askew textures are all 14x, which Minecraft was not built to understand!! So every single mob in the game is a custom model, even if it doesn’t look like it, the weird texture size fights with the format the models were set up in so even if they’re minor tweaks I still gotta do them so everything looks consistent :)!
Feature List!
- Full OST!! 3 ½ hours of new music! It can’t bring your childhood memories back but it can help you make new ones :)!!
- Sound Effect Overhaul!! New sounds for everyone!! Including you!!
- Semi Shaders! Just some colored light shenanigans but still fun :)!!
- Real-Time Seasons!!! Every 30 minutes your leaves will change!! The colors will “leaf” you………looking at them!!!!!!!!! ((Every 30 minutes))
- Custom Armor!! Use an anvil for unique armor styles! Format is just “[Material] [Armor Type]” (e.g. “Emerald Helmet”)!
- Custom Tools!! Use an anvil for unique tooool styles! Format is just “[Material] [Tool Type]” (e.g. “Rosegold Axe”)!
- Custom Shields!! Use an anvil for this too!! There’s regular styles and some fun alternatives! ((pssst…try renaming your shield to “Diamond Sword” but also don’t tell anyone i told you its a secret :)!))
- Mob Variations!! Some creatures have different looks! And some even have…OTHERER looks ;)!!!
- Jokes!! The language in the game has been modified for many a chuckle! But I’ve made a separate “Vanilla” option in the languages if you wanna be less comical :)
- Noteblocks & Cave Noises!! These count as sounds! But they were so excited to show off that they ESCAPED to another part of the list!!!
- Player Model Villagers!!! I’ve always wanted to have player villagers and the INCREDIBLE sixfootblue made it a reality! Go check out their pack Haven 16x :)!!! (it’s genuinely SO GOOD)
- SO MUCH MORE!!! this is not an exaggeration!!! There is SO. MUCH. MORE.
