Description
This pack is made from the Default Minecraft textures, it keeps the same native color and the same native shape from the original textures.
A line of 1 pixel wide in 16x16 will be 2 pixel wide in 32x32, so it mix well with others 16x16 textures.
From far away the buildings will render the same as if you had the original textures.
In few words: "A Hermitcraft player could use Accurate textures and still see world the same way as others players."
Any block, pane, iron bar that is matching blocks in 16x16 will also be matching blocks of this pack.
(Unlike Faithful where some in-between bricks got thinned and wood log got different age-circles)
What is an Accurate Texture:
- Original 16x16 texture > Paint-like program > upscale to 32x32.
Then, by importance order:
1- Original color only: no new colors into the image.
2- Keep the same amount of pixels for the most dark/bright color in any texture.
3- Keep the same amount of pixels for each color.
4- Respect the block: do not touch what make this block recognizable, or its particularity.
5- Diagonal lines must be changed to be more lines than stairs. (may affect quantity of color)
6- Change the texture the less possible; most of original pixels² must keep 3 pixels of its original color. (there is few exceptions)
