What's new

Visual test candidate based on RC1.

Added:

  • A subtle, naturally tilted Milky Way band while preserving the dark midnight sky and current stars.
  • A lightweight central dust lane and gentle structural variation.
  • The same subtle band in eligible high-quality sky reflections.

Performance design:

  • No additional texture samples.
  • No loops or volumetric noise.
  • Uses a small analytic calculation and fades out during rain, daylight and obstructed visibility.

Please test at midnight from open terrain, looking from horizon to zenith, with and without rain.
