The r5.5 update substantially improves the image quality by introducing multiple improvements to Temporal Filtering, adds extra support for Minecraft 1.21.5 blocks, adds fake variable penumbra shadows for the Reimagined style, adds the new "IPBR+ Compatibility Mode" option, makes a lot of tweaks to existing features, and fixes a bunch of bugs as usual.
