✦ New Features

Poster Mode — New shader profile + toggle for cinematic screenshots. Activates letterbox bars, aggressive teal-orange split tone, boosted contrast/saturation, and heavy film grain in one click.

Seasonal Presets — 4 color grades selectable from the shader menu: ā˜€ Summer (warm, saturated), šŸ‚ Autumn (amber, desaturated), ā„ Winter (cold blue, moody), 🌸 Spring (soft pastel, lifted blacks). Works with all profiles.

Film Halation — Warm red-orange glow on overexposed highlights, simulating 35mm film emulsion light scatter. Stronger in Poster Mode. Zero performance cost.

Film Grain — Animated per-frame hash-based noise. Subtle in gameplay (0.018), aggressive in Poster Mode (0.048).

POSTER Profile — New HIGH+ preset in shaders.properties. Enables DOF, vignette, chromatic aberration, Poster Mode, and 4K shadows automatically.

↑ Improvements

Film Halation improves existing bloom — Bright areas now have warm halation layered on top of bloom for a richer, more organic highlight treatment.

Split-tone strengthened — Shadow teal and highlight amber are more distinct in standard mode (was subtle, now clearly visible). Poster Mode pushes further.

Shadow lift refined — 0.018 minimum black in standard mode. Poster Mode uses power curve instead of clamp for deeper cinematic blacks.

lang/en_US.lang — All new V3 settings have descriptions and value labels in the shader menu.

ā—ˆ Technical

All new code lives in tonemap.glsl and final.glsl — no new shader passes, no extra buffer reads.

Seasonal grades are compile-time constants via #if SEASONAL_PRESET == N — zero runtime cost for unused seasons.

Letterbox uses UV discard in final.glsl — cheaper than a stencil or geometry approach.

Compatible with existing V2 worlds and all V2 profile settings.
