It is ONLY meant for taking screenshots.
When the camera is not moving, the image will accumulate samples slowly over frames to a sharp, anti-aliased and noise-free image over time. In some cases this can take a few minutes.
It uses full Screen space path tracing for sky, bounced sunlight, torches and other emissives : it looks great but everything that is not on screen or occluded by another object will not be taken in account.
A lot of things are broken like transparencies.
Option quality is set really high for the best quality possible.
It also features a few novelties:
- depth write parallax occlusion, which allows for the screen space tracing to take in account relief
- improved emissive color
