What's new

The Nether: the zigzag you saw was my heat-haze effect warping whole walls. It's now a thin, subtle band just above the lava sea. Fog has a soft start, some noise variation, and a lower cap. Nearby blocks get warm light, and the distance keeps the biome's color.

The End:

The flat "roof" was my sky pass leaving a dull lid. The whole sky is now painted in one pass.

There's now a huge violet star with a corona, spikes and a tilted ring. It is the only light source, so shadows fall away from it. I tilted the sun path to -38°, so Overworld noon will sit a little lower.

I lowered exposure, fill light and bloom so it's no longer washed out, and the Cinematic preset is a bit gentler.

Snow biomes: aurora curtains appear at night, and snowflakes are now bright and glowing so they stay visible.
