The WorkLoad modpack is an engineer's dream. Build Machinery, make and process lots of items and automate everything!
Mod Unlocking
This modpack has a unique progression system. At the start, you only have access to the vanilla game, but as you progress, you unlock mods. Even if you are playing on a multiplayer server, someone can't just boost your progress by giving you items, as you won't be able to use them. You will have to complete quests to unlock different mods. This system is powered by Mod Disable, a mod that is purpose-built for this modpack.
Focus of the modpack
This modpack focuses on the Create and Mekanism mods and long-term progression. You start with the Vanilla game, then you expand into the base Create and decoration mods, then you will unlock combustion engines and more! Your technology and factories will become increasingly advanced as you complete more quests!
System requirements
WorkLoad has a big amount of mods. If you plan to play on low settings, it is still recommended that you have a hard minimum of 6GB of RAM dedicated to the Minecraft client WITH custom JVM arguments and a CPU with 4 cores.
Multiplayer support
This modpack can be used in a multiplayer setting. Other players can help you with quests, but cannot fast forward your progress so much that you don't understand what the items do! The modpack's quests are designed to gradually teach players about the items and mechanics.
