Description
this pack mainly focuses on survival from the environment and zombies. you will need to get or making clean water, fight off hordes of zombies, and watch out for creepers as they explode no matter what and will rush whatever hole you are hiding in.
normal survival is just too boring and easy, it's just digging a hole and wait out the night. but this isn't a normally survival thankfully. you will need to manage your thirst, hunger, and temperature to survive. you won't be able to skip those zombies moaning outside your doors at night because some gained the ability to dig through blocks or their pals the creeper will blow a hole in your wall to help them out so building up defenses is a must especially seeing how you are trying to rebuild civilization
"I'm honestly too lazy to keep writing stuff to make it more interesting. it's a hardcore-ish zombie survival what more is to say"
PC requirements
6Gb of ram should do 8Gb for singleplayer however
no need for optifine as this pack includes rubidium, starlight, and oculus "shaders" which is far better then optifine
on a side note shaders likely work with distant horizon as stated by mod author
usage
if you're making your own server feel free to remove or add mods as you wish. or make a request for a mod to be added as long as it's not too easy to obtain in apocalypse I'll probably add it.
having FPS issues
if your having trouble with performance the following mods can easily be removed
Farsight - just allows you to see further on dedicated servers
better foliage - just makes things pretty
better f3 - just more debug side of things
build guide - purely client side and used to help build shapes
diagonal fences - im pretty sure it can be removed
distant horizons - i personally wouldnt remove it but it adds LOD to minecraft allowing for much better FPS with massive view distance (not actual render distance)
starlight - if playing on a server
PS
i have a 3950x and rtx 3090 with 64Gb of ram with 16+Gb given to Minecraft so i tend to not have lag or major issues in my packs and cant guarantee you wont.
i did test it in singleplayer with 8256Mb of ram (about 8Gb) with no crashing
