Description
Wizards Run is a RPG style survival modpack developed to support the WizardsRun.mcserver.us server where the players are 'wizards', starting out as low-level Novices that have to first gather the resources to craft their spell book and from there found world spanning forts utilizing 'portals' to travel large distances. The players can quickly become overpowered due to the Ars Nouveau mod so I included a raft of 'mob' mods to add to and strengthen the threats the players will face in the world. The server also includes a number of quality-of-life mods, as well as mods to expand on villages and villagers as well as crafting, fishing, and general 'adventuring. WR also includes the Mine Colonies mod so those incline to become a ruler can do so over more than just simple villagers, they can build entire empires. There are a number of 'pressure' mechanism at play that keep the pressure on the player and in turn keep the game interesting at all times too, the key ones being an enhanced damage system that requires bandages and time to heal, the need for a varied diet, expanded weather events, environmental effects on players (cold/hot) and to top of this limited list periodic "Blood Moons' will occur increasing mob activity, from time to time "Hoards" will form to attack enmass and every 300 days the players forts, towns & cities will be placed under 'Siege' in which the mobs will make a concerted effort to teardown, dig under or build over your defenses.
