Description
War of The Cactus is a 1.7.10 war modpack inspired by the Technic team's timeless Voltz modpack released in late 2012/early 2013 for Minecraft 1.5.2. The pack design starts with the core Voltz mechanics of ICBM missiles and Atomic Science, then expands upon it by introducing Tinkers' Construct for early game combat, Thermal Expansion and other tech mods to augment Voltz's Mekanism meta, sprinkles of magic and decorative mods to create a more modern, immersive environment, and much more! As part of my lengthy series of war modpacks, this pack is in the pool for use on my official play.jdawg3636.com server. Join the Discord for more info; the pack is designed for PVP after all!
The original War of The Cactus was released in November 2016 for the Technic launcher. It is being transferred to CurseForge for ease of development for modern seasons and for more intuitive/stable distribution to new players. Do note that the older versions are tagged with "CurseForge Port" for a reason - they provide an experience that is as faithful to the originals as possible, but are unfortunately not compatible with their Technic counterparts due to some technical and licensing issues. You can still download the original versions of both seasons from Technic if you so desire.
