What is this project?
Waking Vale is a public MCRP server with its own modpack. Our ultimate goal is to simulate a fully social environment that serves as a framework for players to learn new skills in art, writing, music, language, and culture by interacting with others from diverse backgrounds. We aim to create a world with its own culture, art, language, and unique stories—a world where every player, every story, and every block placed matters. This is a server where we value art for the sake of art, acting for the sake of acting , building for the sake of building, drawing for the sake of drawing, and composing for the sake of composing. We won’t care if you’re starting; as long as you’re learning and having fun, you’re doing it right. This is a community for artists, content creators, and roleplayers who seek a space free of drama, irresponsible RP, and judgment. We value authenticity over perfection.
Will that cost me anything?
No! This server isn’t, and will never be, monetized. There’s no pay-to-win model, and no subscriptions or anything like that—just log in and play. However, we do accept donations to cover server costs. Please keep in mind that donations won’t be rewarded with special perks; instead, 100% of the money will be reinvested in the server. This means that the more donations we receive, the better our server will become for everyone, with new custom content, mod optimizations, improved hosting services, and enhanced infrastructure, among other things.
