- This is a large release and it may break your map. I recommend starting a new world. Usually I try to avoid breaking your maps but we have a NEW version of the Realistic Terrain Generator and major updates to several mods so this is the long awaited balance pack with lots of user suggestions included that I was otherwise reluctant to publicly impliment.
Realistic and Dangerous World - Updated the Realistic Terrain Generator
- Turned off Natura Clouds
- Added in the Weather, Storms, and Tornadoes mod
- Added in ExtraBiomesXL for a more diverse and fun to explore Overworld
- Removed Monster Swarm and the mod that disabled Zombie Pig Men in the nether.
This mod turned out to be a problem because it could be used to harvest tons of recources safely in the overworld if you knew how. It also turned the nether into a constant battle that only the most dedicated players could win. It simply wasn't fun. - As people liked creepers burning in the daylight I added in a mod that keeps that. The dark forests generated by RTG will however be dangerous day or night. Also mobs with helmets or armor will not burn.
- Added in Zombie Awareness mod; zombies will track injured players, or the sound of mining. They can group up into hordes and wander the map. It should be fun. Disable this for an easier game if you want.
- I adjusted the config on Hunger Overhaul so that you can stack food in larger stacks. Several players had complained about the waste of inventory space
- Added in the small Dramatic Skies resource pack so we have sun and moon that are as awesome as the clouds and storms.
Optimized For Large Settlements
- I removed squidless and Pams Clay Spawn the function of both are consolidated inside a mod called Scott's Tweaks
- I added a mod called fog nerf which removes the fog effect from the bedrock layers.
- I removed the two magic mods Ars Magicka and Botania; which also removes the Baubles bug permanently. They weren't really keeping with the theme and spawning pools and flowers took a lot of space. I like these mods and may base a pack on them later. :)
- I removed Metallurgy as I'd already disabled most of it's functionality and thus like the magic mods it wasn't doing much beyond causing extra lag.

More
- A whole lot of mod updates I haven't kept track of; some of which improve performance dramatically.
