I want to start by thanking every single one of you who has taken the time to play Veil of the Ancients. This journey started as a small personal project — a way for me to learn how to build modpacks, design menus, and weave stories through gameplay. I’ve still got a long way to go, but everything you see here is a labor of love. Watching people enjoy what I’ve built has been incredibly rewarding, and it’s pushed me to keep improving every day.

Patch 2.0 was a turning point, and with Patches 3.0 and 3.5, I hope to take things even further. Thank you from the bottom of my heart — I truly hope you enjoy what’s coming next.

Veil of the Ancients - Patch 3.5 — “Echoes of Ruin”

“The ancients have grown impatient. The veil thins, revealing darker truths. Bosses rise stronger, smarter — they feed on your failure. Their songs echo through broken realms... will you conquer the ruin, or become part of it?”

The old threats you thought vanquished have returned... stronger, crueler, and reborn through ruin. As the End and the Nether awaken, forgotten titans rise once more. The Ender Dragon, the Wither, the Wither Storm — all reforged, all enraged. Even the moon is no longer safe. And amidst the chaos… a wave is coming. Perhaps the flowers you once used to tend in peace… will now be your strongest line of defense.

In this chapter, the past claws its way back into the present. Those bosses you once triumphed over — the Wither and the Ender Dragon — have returned, reforged in ruin and reborn in fury. This is not a mere update... it’s a reckoning.

☠️ Boss Rebirths — Wrath of the Forgotten Titans

🐉 Ender Dragon Ascends

• Now commands the True Ending, amplified by Savage Ender Dragon [Forge/Fabric], with haunting visuals and an unforgettable battle score.

💀 Wither & Wither Storm Awaken

• The Wither Storm unleashes new audio fury with the V-Sides Soundtrack, intensifying the dread of its approach.

• The classic Three-Headed Wither is no longer a mere obstacle — it fights with cinematic animations and an upgraded musical suite.

⚔️ Boss Mechanics Update

• All bosses now regenerate health when a player falls nearby. Your failure makes them stronger. Every death matters.

🌕 New Moons Rising

The heavens stir and shift with mystic energies. Six new moons now alter the very fabric of night:

• Chaos Moon

• Sniper's Moon

• Horde Moon

• Miner's Moon

• Ender Moon

• Peaceful Moon

🛠️ New Additions & Enhancements

• Smooth Swapping (Forge Updated) – Swift item switching without performance strain.

• Seamless Loading Screen – A more immersive and fluid transition into the world.

• Resource Pack Overrides [Forge & Fabric] – Official packs now load automatically, ensuring consistency and less RSS confusion. ❤️

PVZ ZenGarden tools have been whispered back into the overworld. What once was made to defend a garden… might just save your base.

🧩 Main Menu Overhaul & Covenant Removed

• The old Covenant mod has been removed to enhance balance and compatibility.

• A new main menu experience has been implemented — visually captivating and thematically aligned with Veil of the Ancients, making your entry into the game more atmospheric than ever.
