Description
This mod pack doesn't add any new items or blocks to the game, so if you can swap your world between vanilla and this modpack (and back again) with no ill effects.
The mod pack offers the following modifications to the vanilla game.
- In Game Recipes - The mod JEI (Just Enough Items) provides a handy in game reference for all the crafting recipes that are in game. This saves players from having to refer to the Minecraft Wiki for those difficult to remember recipes
- In Game Map - The mod Journey Map is used to provide a map in the HUD. It allows for waypoints to be created. The configuration has been modified so that mobs and players do not appear in the map
- Server Side Chunk Loading - The mod FTB Utilities has been added to allow players to keep chunks loaded, to enable AFK farms to run without the player being connected.
- The ability to automatically re-order items in your inventory and chests - The mod Inventory Tweaks provides this.
- Leaves have an increased despawn rate when the logs are removed from a tree.
- It's possible to mine an entire cluster of certain resources with one swing of the pickaxe, thanks to the VeinMiner mod. There's a modifier key (see controls in options) that you have to hold when mining, so it's not on by default.
- Mob and player health is visible in game when you look at them, thanks to the Neat mod.
