Description
~~ Future updates will mostly consist of several more quests being added and utilization of the prestige mod
This modpack brings forth very large challenges - please do not complain that it is hard, but offer balancing ideas if you wish.
Important-to-know challenges:
- You'll likely be playing in hardcore
- You're allergic to sunlight (try a reverse bed)
- You cannot consume food, even fun food like golden apples or lantern jelly - only blood, and only from a blood altar (which you do not start with)
- As you exhaust yourself more, you will need more and more blood to sate your thirst
- Oh yeah, also all your items will go poof constantly and your tools and armor will lose durability idly - have fun with that and read the in-game guide to learn how to remedy this
When starting the game, you should pick a Topography world type.
press ~ (above tab) to access quests. You can also get to them from the top-right of your inventory GUI

Crashing? This modpack will rarely crash, but if it does, you should first simply relaunch as there shouldn't be a persistent problem.
Poor FPS? remove/disable shader * lower your render distance * lower or turn off other graphics settings * [if using optifine] change settings under video settings --> performance * allocate more (or less) memory
If the game freezes for a long time every couple of seconds, it's likely caused by Garbage Collection.
To fix the problem: Add the text on the next line to the end of your launch arguments @ Minecraft Launcher/Installations/Vampiric Stasis/More Options/JVM arguments (with a space between the old and the new)
