Tyler John's Parasitic Race to Space
A Modpack about exploring the cosmos, oh and not dying to the parasites. *Not made by Tyler John.
RECOMMENDED INSTALL
I recommend installing the Optifine mod, as the hardcore darkness mod is installed, and all of the other Dynamic Lights mods don't work for whatever reason lmao.
I would also turn on the two included resource packs, i like them :)
Features
- The Scape and Run: Parasites mod has been configured to work with all the other mods, and the world will progress through the parasitic infection.
- The health system has been completely overhauled with the First Aid mod, and it has been configured specifically for this modpack. (made it a bit easier lol)
- Extra healing items and more have been added through the Medicraft: Alchemy Aid mod.
- The Techguns mod allows you to craft weapons and armor for defending yourself from the parasites.
- Tinker's Construct's modular tool system allows you to create your own tools.
- Tinker's Forging ports TerraFirmaCraft's tool forging system to Tinker's Construct.
- The world has been overhauled by Dynamic Trees, Biomes O' Plenty, Traverse Reforged, and more.
- Food and farming has been changed by the Cooking for Blockheads and Pam's Harvestcraft mods.
- The Tough as Nails mod makes a hardcore survival experience.
- The Weather, Storms & Tornadoes mod overhauls the weather system.
- Many other Tech mods.

TIPS
- RUSH THE BED. trust me you are gonna want a bed before the first night.
- The parasites spread through a status effect called Call of The Hive. COTH is gotten from most parasites. COTH can then be spread from entity to entity, including the player.
- Keep track of the parasites' progress. The phase of the parasites is sent in chat whenever they reach a new phase. The current parasite phase can also be seen through a Blood Clock, which can be crafted.
- If you ever hear a sound like a gong, KILL IT
- Make a stable source of wool and string. Wool and string are the recipe for healing items. Getting a stable source of healing early game is a necessity.
- It is best to have a gun and basic techguns armor before you began deep caving.
- The Tinker's Construct drying racks can be used to make a good early game source of food.
- A base secure from the parasites is best.
