Description
Twiggymon is a public multiplayer modpack built around Cobblemon — the Fabric-native Pokémon mod that spawns over 400 catchable Pokémon species directly into Minecraft's world. Rather than separating the Pokémon experience from the Minecraft one, Twiggymon weaves them together into a single cohesive survival SMP.
Catching & Battling Pokémon spawn naturally across every biome — from Terralith's lavender valleys to Biomes O' Plenty's volcanic plains and Incendium's nether biomes. Wild encounters use Cobblemon's turn-based battle system. Mega Evolutions, Z-Moves, and Dynamax are available through Mega Showdown and Navas ZA Megas. Alpha Pokémon roam the world as rare, oversized variants with boosted stats. Raid Dens offer group boss encounters, and Legendary Monuments give legendary Pokémon dedicated spawn structures to discover.
Progression & Multiplayer Systems Players earn gym badges, complete Cobblemon challenges, level up through captured Pokémon XP, and trade or battle each other on the shared server. The Pokénav, Box Link, and Cobblepedia give players tools to manage their teams and browse Pokédex data from anywhere. A trainer economy runs through CobbleDollars, with merchants and gacha systems adding optional ways to spend your earnings.
The World The overworld is generated with Terralith and Biomes O' Plenty running together, producing dramatically varied terrain across hundreds of distinct biomes. YUNG's improved structures replace vanilla dungeons, strongholds, ocean monuments, and nether fortresses with handcrafted alternatives. Luki's Grand Capitals adds large player-discoverable cities. Custom datapacks tune Pokémon spawn rates and loot tables specifically for the SMP balance.
Building & Living Ten-plus decoration mod suites are included — Macaw's full collection (bridges, doors, roofs, windows, furniture, lights, paths, fences), the [Let's Do] lineup (Vinery, Bakery, Farm & Charm, Brewery, Candlelight, Beachparty), Chipped, Rechiseled, Yuushya Townscape, and more — giving players the tools to build detailed bases, towns, and Pokémon habitats. Sophisticated Backpacks and Storage handle inventory. Waystones handle fast travel between explored locations.
Technical Twiggymon runs on Fabric 0.18.4 for Minecraft 1.21.1. Performance mods including Sodium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, ImmediatelyFast, and Entity Culling are included on the client side to keep framerates stable despite the pack's size. Simple Voice Chat is bundled for in-game proximity audio between players.
