Worlds have fallen. People have succumbed. Terrible creatures roam all domains freely.
And then there's you, a mere particle in this chaotic of ocean of hopelessness.

¬A¬A¬A focuses on providing a quest-free hardcore experience, forcing the player to improvise and come up with new solutions for things that were quite simple before, on their own. You have multiple things to take advantage of: multiple dimensions, the technical advancements, and many, many other things.
But they don't exist just to make your game easier. It's necessary to use those things, if you want to survive. Against them.






This modpack works in 4 key aspects:

+ Hardcore. Not just many more mobs are able to completely steamroll you with their enhanced AI, but also the early game in general is more difficult, with the addition of a thirst bar and a limited amount of lives. Keep that in mind!

[ Early Game Tips ]

- Getting wood: to cut wood, you need to create primitive tools first via bones. Bones can be acquired from animals.
- Crafting a crafting table: obtain sticks from breaking leaves, then put 4 sticks together to make primitive planks. Use 4 primitive planks to make a crafting table.
- Thirst: live too long without drinking proper water, and you will perish. You will need to get a furnace ASAP to make either glass bottles or terracotta bowls to drink water. And most importantly, water must be purified, either via a campfire, a furnace or the Create mod.
- Crafting your first furnace: you may notice that the furnace now requires three raw iron to craft. To get raw iron, you can't use a stone pickaxe either! You have to upgrade your bone pickaxe into a reinforced one using raw copper on the smithing table (which is also crafted with raw copper). Then, you would be able to mine the required iron.

 

+ Exploration & RPG. There are many things to look for - both early game and even late game. New structures will prove useful by providing loot that's hard to get in early game, and new dimensions you'll be able to go to aswell to try and get more resources in an already very hostile world.

+ Tech. Not just an adventurer's will is required to be successful in a new cruel world, but also a sharp mind. Always think ahead and research the tech available, as it can come very, very handy for your already difficult survival. Your Tinkers' Construct, Mekanism and even Create knowledge can make a large difference.

+ Horror. Just so it's a bit more tense to live. This modpack includes my own custom-made horror mod, so you don't know what's coming. You didn't come here for an easy time, right? :)
