Update 5.1.0 brings about a series of upgrades to existing systems and wonderful new additions. The world has never felt so alive as it does now, with slight, light-weight details added to give the world an extra taste of realism. 

Several mods were removed as they added a certain level of bloat of objects and their appearance was not all that appealing to the eye, and in turn, other mods have been added to replace those with prettier, more amicable blocks and furniture. 

Experience tomes now exist that players may store their experience, should they wish, to go about their business in adventures without fear of losing their levels or to use with the mending enchantment to repair tools that otherwise wouldn't be repaired in combat.

Several perfomance mods have been added, seeking to diminish any memory leaks and problems that could otherwise be found with mods in lower-performance machines.

A new mod for fast travel has been added that encourages the creation of infrastructure around the world. Add signs and roads between said signs and you can teleport between them, without any experience cost. You need to have crossed the world and the paths between said signs first for it to work, though.
