This modpack is designed for server play for about 5 to 10 players.
WE DONT TEST ABOVE 10 PLAYERS.
Due to design for server play you can find recommended specs for server and client below.
At the moment we are using following server specs for our testing:
CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2667v2 / 4 cores
RAM: 16GB DDR3 regECC
60 GB SSD (NAS)
100 Mbit/s up/down
Hosted at Zap-Hosting as a Root-Server (Virtual Server)
but can't recommend Zap-Hosting though.
You should look for a CPU with as much clock speed as possible for your server.
Minecraft Server in 1.12.2 is'nt multithreading so more cores will not improve your performance very much.
I recommend following client specs:
CPU: i5-7400 CPU or equal or better
RAM: DDR4 16GB RAM with at least 6GB allocated to minecraft
GPU: Something that can run Vanilla Minecraft with at least ~60fps
I recommend to install this modpack on SSD, but its also fine if you install it on HDD.
