Description
Inspired by such mods as TerraFirmaCraft and Better Than Wolves, The Ironic Modpack is a total conversion hardcore modpack, made to turn Minecraft into a challenging survival game by reimagining and improving almost every aspect of it, from progression and exploration to farming and mining. The pack changes most of the basic mechanics and adds numerous new ones while retaining vanilla minecraft style and avoiding content bloat
The Ironic Modpack contains lots of custom-made content created specifically for it to perfect the progression and overall experience, from new materials and functional blocks to new mechanics such as cave-ins and animal disease
Totally overhauled progression, new carefully balanced survival mechanics and improved mob AI will make your first days or even weeks a constant fight for survival
Make basic stone tools, hunt animals, fight off monsters, build campfires and brick furnaces, tan leather and make pots
Visit the special Advancements tab to get information on what to do next to progress and to find out how some of the new items and blocks work
Beware of falling rocks! Mining with a pickaxe now can cause part of your mine to collapse right on your head. Build supports out of at least two logs up against stone blocks to create a safe radius
Build great processing lines and moving machines and contraptions with the Create mod
Create's material and machine progression is overhauled as well!
Exlpore the world and find many new structures with useful loot, including helpful artifacts
New invasions such as The Undead Army and different types of Hordes won't let you catch a break in early-mid game. Fight them off with new weapons, including Muskets, Bombs and Spears. Combat for all melee weapons is overhauled as well
All built around the existing vanilla content, avoiding redundancy and clutter
Please note that The Ironic Modpack is incompatible with Optifine. The pack already includes Embeddium, so you won't have to tinker with that
The modpack's compatibility with multiplayer is untested and may be bugged
