Welcome back to The Forsaken Modpack!

I have been working hard on this massive update for months, and I want to give a huge thank you to everyone for helping me reach 5,000 downloads! It’s been a long wait, but I’ve spent that time completely repolishing the experience from the ground up. I hope you all really enjoy this new version.

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Performance

Gear is Back: It took me a little while to realize, but the Timeless and Classics mod was completely broken in the last version (items couldn't be crafted at the table). This is now 100% fixed!

Performance Boosts: I’ve heavily optimized the pack to run smoother.

A Quick Note on Lag/FPS: > This is a very mod-heavy pack. If you are experiencing "lag," double-check your internet connection first, as server ping is usually the culprit. However, if you are dealing with low frame rates, my recommended target is around 100 FPS. Tip: If your PC is struggling to hit that, I highly recommend using a PC optimization app like Hone. It can optimize your system and potentially give you a massive FPS boost—not just in Minecraft, but in any other game you play.

🧟 Gameplay Updates & Tips

Watch Your Stamina: There is a brand-new stamina system in place. You will need to manage your energy carefully to stay safe!

Zombie AI Overhaul: In the previous version, two different AI mods were conflicting, making the zombies way too fast, unpredictable, and causing them to randomly break blocks everywhere. I removed the conflicting mod, so their behavior is now much more balanced and spooky for the right reasons.

No More Villages: Villages have been completely removed from world generation. You are on your own.

Surface Loot: You no longer need to spend hours mining in caves just to get your defensive gear! I’ve added plenty of new ways to obtain items while exploring the surface.

Zombies with lock on to you if you 1. place a block 2. they see a light source next to you 3. they see you 4. they smell blood form you taking damage.

🏆 The 100 Days Challenge Rules

I hope you decide to take on the 100 Days Challenge! If you are recording a video for it, the rules are simple but very important:

World Creation: Your video must show the very beginning of your world being created.

Difficulty: You are required to play on Medium Core difficulty.

Keep Cuts to a Minimum: Try to make as few edits or cuts as possible.

How to Edit/Cut: If you do need to make a cut, you must be seen logging out to the title screen. When you start the next clip, you must start on the title screen and show yourself joining back into the world.

Where to Post: Your finished challenge must be posted on YouTube.

Show Me Your Videos: If I don't see your video pop up within 3 days, please post the link in the comment section below so I can definitely find it and cheer you on!
