The Pitch

So you've played the FTB packs. You've played Foolcraft. You've even played the expert packs. You've conquered it all, or at least played enough to get your fill of each pack.

Now what? Play vanilla? Nope! Can't do that. Can't go back to a land without elevator blocks and Ender IO, can't give up my ore doubling and Tinker's tools, that would give you postpartum depression! At the same time, expert packs are way too grindy for any little thing you want to accomplish.

Lucky for you, there is a pack for you. I've stripped out everything but The Bear Necessities, in order to get as close to vanilla as possible, without sacrificing all of the really cool stuff you can do in modded Minecraft. I've added small survival challenges like hardcore darkness, blacklisting stone from vein mining, and disabling waypoint teleports, but all of these can be circumvented with a little bit of work. I also haven't added tedious and in my opinion pointless progression lines that exist in expert packs, where it takes a full day of game-play to get some basic tools. The best way to play this pack is to take your time, relax, and enjoy a long-term world without any goals forced down your throat.

Important Note: This mod-pack was primarily created for the New Blocks server. You are more than welcome to enjoy the pack and give feedback, but keep in mind that I'll be updating and changing it based on the server's needs.
