 Small Guide

- Adventurers Beginner Guide

*Seeing as the Adventurer is only human, he can't stand much damage. A trusty shield and good gear is key. Aswell as food to keep up your health & energy!

-

*Gear can be crafted, though the best possible gear is found in the MegaLoot Boxes found in dungeons of several sorts

-
*The world is filled with Dimensions, Biomes, Dungeons & Simple Structures to keep you occupied. Some come with loot, others do not. Not even the familiar Nether will be recognizable

-
*Crafting an Atlas gives you a good way to keep track of things in the world.

-
*Going on Adventures can be tough, especially when night falls and your inventory is full. Luckily you can craft several backpacks and even use wolves to carry stuff for you. Several types of sleeping bags are available so you don't have to go all the way home every time night falls. Or set a new spawn point

-
*The Living and Soulbind Enchantments are the standouts among the new. The Living enchantment makes your sword (tool, or gear) alive! Able to speak and level up. The Soulbind enchantment will keep your item on you after death, but will drop 1 level or dissapear if your item is below Soulbind level 1.

-

*Getting bitten by a vampire is what by default starts up the vampirism mod. If you haven't decided to play as a hunter that is. Being a vampire gives you extra health and abilites as you level up, but in turn you can only travel at night as the sun burns you. You can get bitten by an NPC, a Vampire Player, or by simply using the vampire fang drop on yourself.

-

*Sometimes mobs may drop hearts. These do not increase max health (even though they may say so), but will rather fill your heart meter 1 up each use. Think of them as an instan health potion. They are very usefull when there is no food around and you are out venturing.

-

*The Defiled lands spread corruption across your world, meaning blocks & items will change

-

* Starting in 2.1 your spawnpoint at the start of the game will always be a Village. Villages are either Neutral, Protected by Vampire hunters, or Controlled by Vampires

-
*In villages you can complete Bailies Dailies for rewards. Daily, ofc.

-

*In order to use Biomes O' Plenty, the world has to be generated with the Biomes O'Plenty world type.

-

*You have 25 lives, meaning that after your 25th death, you will be forced into spectator mode.

*This modpack works as a singleplayer experience, but is more exciting in multliplayer. Vampire players can turn other players, the villages can be contested between vampires & hunters, and the 25 lives limit sets for an unique experience for each player.

Have Fun! ,-)

(If some control settings overlap, a quick change in the controls section should do, customize it to your liking, if you for example prefer the Baubles inventory over the Camping mod, there's a button for it in the Control settings. I preferebly use Z, as an example, for sucking blood as a vampire... and usually B opens the Baubles slot.

have fuN!)
