***STORY TIME***
As you feel your body coalesce into the world, a little more magic is infused than normal. You also see many more mobs than usual, many you've never seen before, or only have a slight recollection of them from timelines past.
As you punch your first tree, you notice it is almost bursting with magical energy. Intrigued, you begin your studies into Thaumaturgy, as it seems to be the most prominent source of energy around. When you first open the Thaumonomicon, it is full to the brim with tabs. So much so, it needs a second page of them!
As you delve deeper into your studies, you are often interrupted by monsters. Even the sky seems more hostile. As if you'd committed a wrong to the gods above... Though, how would have you done that? Perhaps you should pay tribute...

Welcome to Thaumic World! This is a modpack with (almost) every single Thaumcraft addon (as well as Thaumcraft itself), Advent of Ascension, Essentialcraft, and of course, the mods common to just about every single modpack. (AKA; NEI, Inventory Tweaks, Mouse Tweaks, Storage Drawers, Iron Chests, and a couple more.)
However, being an extremely specialized pack, it doesn't have any of the other big mods, such as Thermal Expansion, Ender IO, not even Blood Magic or Botania! (Applied Energistics is now required for a Thaumcraft Addon I decided to add.)
Now, I know what you're thinking, "Kd! Why in the world should I play this pack, if it doesn't have any of the biggest mods of our time!?" And to that I say this: This pack has so much Thaumcraft content, that I found that I could play a single world for MONTHS (yes this pack has been in development for that long (almost a year now!) and not get bored!
Now, of course, if you aren't into Thaumcraft, then this pack is definitely NOT for you. Though, I do suggest you try the pack out, and see if it changes your mind on Thaumcraft - just give it a chance! There is so much content, that like I said, the Thaumonomicon needed a second page of tabs!
This pack has not been made any easier, however, by the addition of Advent of Ascension. I found that by the time I had Thaumium Fortress Armor, mobs weren't in issue in the slightest. So, I added AoA. This added an extra challenge, due to the unique levelling system AoA has. Some mobs you can't even do damage to until you've hit a certain Hunter level!
