Description
TerraFirmaPack is a very lite modpack that focuses on enhancing the TerraFirmaCraft experience while still being faithful to its challenges and mechanics. For those that don't know, TerraFirmaCraft, or TFC, is a mod that overhauls the survival aspect of Minecraft with new world gen, mobs and skill leveling. In TFC, players start in the stone age and must knapp their first set of stone tools. Metal tools and armor are progressively attained as players work their way through stronger tiered metals and alloys. Agriculture is expanded upon with added crops that can only be planted during certain seasons, which can be tricky with players needing to maintain certain nutrition stats to keep from starving. Exploration is a key component in TFC with certain resources only generating in specific biomes, like trees, stones or livestock.
TFC on its own is a challenge for most, but this modpack adds just a few extra mods to keep things even more interesting. NEI, JourneyMap, and WAILA are general quality of life additions to keep players organized and informed. Mods like Streams, Item Physics and BiblioCraft are added to keep worlds unique and interesting. And finally, the TFC specific add-ons like TFC Cellars, Decorations, and Better Storage are added to specifically enhance the TFC experience while not nerfing the difficulty. This mix of mods keeps the focus on TerraFirmaCraft, without a whole lot of unnecessary filler. This pack is perfect those wanting an expanded survival experience alone, or with friends!
