What's new

1 MOD ADDED
- Polymorph

BuildCraft Community Edition
- Replaced the previous addon-facing Java API with BuildCraft API 2. The new loader-neutral API covers transport, MJ and external energy, machines, lasers, gates and statements, wires and signals, automation, robots, requests, schematics, builders, facades, lists, map items, and other extension points
- Added full FE compatibility. The new FE Engine converts FE into BC MJ, while the MJ Dynamo converts MJ into FE. Nine FE pipe variants have also been added for extraction, transport, connection control and configurable transfer limits
- BC can retain classic MJ-only behavior or allow ordinary machines and engines to automatically interact with FE systems
- Restored the original-style terrain preview on the Zone Planner itself
- Expanded Jade compatibility. Jade can now display robot ownership, native MJ and FE storage, engine output, and live throughout versus capacity for MJ, FE and fluid pipes
- Map Locations, Single Schematics, Blueprints and Templates now stack up to 16 while empty and become unstackable once they contain saved data
- Reworked resource handling for Builders, Fillers, Quarries and construction tasks. Items, fluids and MJ are now reserved transactionally, failed or cancelled work is rolled back safely, and pending refunds survive reloads even when inventories, tanks or batteries are temporarily full
- Improved blueprint compatibility with missing addons. Unknown block and entity schematic elements are now preserved losslessly, including their opaque data. Builders skip elements that cannot currently be restored instead of repeatedly retrying them forever, while the blueprint reports that some content is unavailable
- Extended owner-aware permission handling to robots, Stripes Pipes, Pumps, Flood Gates, Mining Wells and other automated world operations
- Hardened network handling across machine GUIs, the Zone Planner, Guide Book, Assembly Table, compatibility integrations and construction data
- Improved Auto Workbench reliability. Failed crafts safely return reserved ingredients, conflicting recipes with identical inputs can be selected explicitly and remain selected after reloads, and external automation can no longer extract phantom blueprint or material-filter slots as free items
- Improved Assembly Table and Integration Table automation. Recipe state is preserved correctly, dynamic outputs are scheduled fairly, overlapping ingredients cannot reserve the same stack twice, ingredient extraction is transactional, and result slots expose the correct extraction-only behavior
- Fixed item transfer transactions when inventories change between simulation and execution
- Improved item pipe transport and networking. Inventory insertion now reports the amount actually accepted, transfer charging remains correct when handlers change unexpectedly, travelling items interpolate more reliably on the client without leaving permanent ghosts, and multiple pipe changes can be batched into fewer network updates
- Improved fluid pipes. The Diamond Wooden Fluid Pipe now performs proper round-robin distribution, delayed-fluid transport state survives chunk reloads, forced extraction no longer leaves stale internal accounting that can jam a pipe, and fluid rendering is more consistent
- Improved MJ and FE pipe persistence. Kinesis Pipe current and queued MJ buffers now survive chunk unloads and server restarts, while FE buffers are capacity-limited, saved correctly and only accept energy when the network has real demand
- Fixed several tank edge cases that could mix incompatible fluids or effectively transmute one fluid into another
- Fixed Heat Exchanger processing to respect recipe input amounts, heat transitions and output ratios
- Improved Pump and Flood Gate scanning so fluid searches do not synchronously load unloaded chunks
- Improved Stripes Pipe world interactions. Block placement and breaking now use the proper handlers and permission paths, paid breaking progress is tied to the exact target block and survives reloads, stale deferred requests are refunded safely, and entity interactions correctly consume the working item when the action succeeds
- Improved robot behavior around tools, inventories and world changes. Duplicate tool durability consumption has been removed, sugar cane harvesting works correctly on Minecraft 1.21.1, searches recover safely after reloads, station extraction respects sided inventory rules, and dropped-item reservations use stable dimension and entity identities
- Improved Bomber Robot safety. TNT is not consumed unless the operation is permitted and the potential explosion area remains inside the robot’s allowed work zone
- Fixed Requester automation so external insertion cannot exceed the configured request amount
- Improved engine compatibility and rendering. The FE Engine and MJ Dynamo now follow their intended sided energy rules, chaining and orientation behavior, MJ Dynamo rotation updates correctly when its surroundings change, and their piston animations interpolate smoothly. Engine model data is also refreshed correctly after wrench rotation
- Fixed Combustion Engine residue handling so fuel cannot continue being consumed when the visible residue tank has no room for the resulting residue
- Fixed external automation access to the Iron Engine fluid tanks, including exposed capacities and fluid validation
- Improved marker, laser and volume rendering. Large marker boxes no longer fade into the sky because of terrain fog, cached markers survive client render-distance unloads without leaving permanent broken connections, and lasers or volume boxes are not rendered through unloaded terrain
- Restored the dedicated Path Marker connection laser and improved pipe, pump, LED and engine rendering. The Pump now visibly renders the fluid being pumped, several pipe UV and sprite issues have been corrected, and travelling pipe contents no longer flicker or remain as client-side ghosts
- Fixed JEI recipe presentation for pipes and Assembly Table recipes, including recipe identity handling on Minecraft 1.21.1. Facade recipe visibility now follows the facade configuration consistently across supported versions
- Fixed compatibility with Randomium in large modpacks. BuildCraft facade variants are excluded from Randomium's item scan, preventing the severe world creation and joining slowdown caused by scanning thousands of facade variants
- Fixed additional Forestry Community Edition / Propolis Pipe compatibility issues
- Fixed Water Gel progression and harvesting. Growth now follows randomTickSpeed consistently, and Water Gel only drops from the fully solidified stage
- Fixed invalid oil-generation whitelist entries potentially disabling oil generation entirely
- Fixed vertically oriented BuildCraft blocks when placed by automation without a real player, including orientation calculations for automated placers
- Spectators are now enforced as read-only by the server in BuildCraft GUIs, including normal slots, phantom slots, custom machine buttons and packet-driven interactions
- Improved performance in large transport and construction setups through bounded model and geometry caches, cached pipe capability lookups, optimized Quarry collision tracking, faster idle Builder processing, more efficient laser rendering and reduced unnecessary wire synchronization

Others
- Added Suspicious Sand and Gravel in fragile blocks by default (Client Tweaks)
- Fixed crash when getShape is called with abnormal parameters (Client Tweaks)
- Fixed models without geometry being baked as missing model (Fusion)
- Fixed sub-textures for random texture type receiving wrong texture data leading to a crash (Fusion)
