Description
A large 1.12.2 modpack designed mainly with technology and performance in mind, it has plenty of good mods to keep you occupied for hours and with some fun mods too for when you just want to try something new. Whether you want to create a mass automated farm, explore some new dimensions or build a giant nuclear power station, there are endless possibilities in this pack! This modpack aside from all the tech mods has many build mods with hundreds of custom blocks to choose from for a very unique build. We encourage you not only work on the tech of this mod but make everything great with the new blocks too. There is also new dimensions in this modpack to explore including the twilight forrest, you can have fun for hours in that dimension exploring dungeons, fighting bosses and more.
The main reason for my creation of this pack though is to focus of the technical side of minecraft instead of magic like many mods include. This pack has practically no magic mods to make things unique and allow for more natural progression.
This modpack was also created with performance in mind, so I have tried my best to make sure the mod can be run even on some lower spec computers, most modpacks today include some mods that seem to cause a fair amount of lag and ram usage and I have been careful not to keep too many of the mods I believe are like that. However this modpack being the size it is still requires a minimum of 4gb of ram to run.
Be warned this is a large modpack so resource packs with high resolutions are not recommended and may stop the modpack from even being able to launch. If you do want a full resource pack including mods for this pack you are recommended to download resource pack patches for the modpack "ftb revelation" as this pack has many similarities with that pack.
The same rule also applies for servers regarding making a server you can download the "ftb revelation" server files and just replace the servers "mods" folder with a copy of this modpacks "mods" folder.
