Description
This bite-size modpack was built for our personal minecraft server but really could be used by anyone. It's got a small enough mod list to run at vanilla levels of performance (Or better thanks to Sodium) and has a diverse yet focused spread of mods. With 1.18 captivating people's attentions, now is a great time to start a new world with friends so why not mod it? So as not to outshine what Mojang has done though we have included no world gen mods, though Terralith is truly worth looking into if you really want to up the game!
Origins is a great backbone for the modpack, with a wide scope of options but well-managed unique ways to play.
Adorn is a lovely furniture mod that has vanilla-friendly recipes so it does not look or feel far from vanilla.
Croptopia is another manageable stretch of pre-existing vanilla concepts that is easy to pick up and have fun with.
Go Fish adds a bit more interest into Minecrafts normally dull fishing aspect to round things out without complexity.
And Toms storage is a beginner-friendly storage alternative similar to AE2 or Refined Storage without the overhead complexity of tech mods and power generation.
With REI holding all the recipes together and easily accessible it's a fun pack to play with friends and family that anyone should be able to run if they already have vanilla running.
(For mac users Sodium does cause a few render issues so may need to be removed, but other than that I have not seen any impactful bugs)
