Description
Tanned Forge 2 is a modpack with a mix of technology (Common and lesser known mods), storage, tools and armour, a dimension, item/fluid/power transport, Vanilla Magic and more.
Technology includes ores, machines for processing ores, making alloying, using resources alongside Silt (Assembly Line Machines) and using early game cutting blades before upgrading to better machines, and the ability to make resources with matter (YouMatter)
Storage includes customisable chests (Quartz Chests, Iron Chests, Assorted Storage), storing fluids (Fluid System, Ender Tanks), storing and securing items (Enderthing)
Tools and Armour include Jet Boots with the ability to fly/upgrade them for navigation, Hammers for 3x3 pick mining (Vanilla Hammers Forge), powered Tools with enchantment like abilities (NeoArsenal)
Magic includes a cheap flint and steel, mob summoning, auto-crafting, a quarry (Vanilla Magic), brewing potions in a Pumpkin Cauldron and more (Pumpkin Potions).
Transport mods include filtering, sending and receiving (pipes and wirelessly with collectors) items, blocks, fluid, and power with different tiers, different filters/rates of transport.
Additional mods include:
- a mod that reduces the Chunk Render Distance to 1 making it more challenging (is disabled by default, can be re-enabled by renaming the file and removing the .disabled from the file name)
- a way block that allows for easier Piglin trading even in the overworld
- a way to cage mobs and make mob farms more manageable
- a mod that adds more glass, wool, stained planks, terracotta, concrete, stained bricks, granite, andesite, diorite and soul sand blocks types
- a Mobile Beacon for Beacon effects on the go and based on how much XP the player has determines the effects,
- a Potato Gun to fire crops onto farmland,
- a ritual for Cauldrons with water to remove weather,
- items/tools/armour appearing in Ice blocks in cold biomes,
- a chest to repair tools/armour,
- fireworks rockets being reusable,
- shielding/health changes to require bandages to heal (food only benefits the hunger bar not health) [the shielding is 1 mod the bandages 1 is another],
- a doorknob that can create passages through blocks,
- a beacon that applies negative effects,
- the ability to call horses,
- a mod that shows mob spawning when there is no light
- campfires are unlit when crafted spawners and chests can be locked with highlights,
- customised or turned off, controller support is included,
- stonecutters can harm mobs/players
- and many more tweaks/blocks and interesting additions.
