INSTALLATION AND SETUP:

Before you do anything you must manually install Optifine for 1.20.1 into the pack. TaC:Z and ParCool get extremely buggy without it (and of course the awesome shaders don't work either!)

Install the modpack and run the game - make sure the world with a file name titled "--THIS IS THE CORRECT WORLD--" can be found (I know it's a little much but whatever). When you get in game - and I can't stress this enough - please customize your settings to look like mine; I understand many people have settings they are comfortable with but there are so many keys that need to be dealt with and I have spent the time to put this together so it works with what you need it to. Modifying the setup may ruin the feel of the game or break the movement altogether.

Next, be sure to put the resource and shader packs in in the correct order or certain packs will take president where they aren't meant to. From top to bottom, your resource pack should be:

- TZP Plus Mutants

- Tissou's Zombie Pack

- Mobs Refreshed + Fresh Animations

- Default

There should be only one shader pack, so use that, but make sure you have Optifine for 1.20.1 installed.

Description:

Choose from 22 different pre-customized weapons kits and fight to the death against as many people as you choose in an 80x80 arena!

- Use "/kit claim [kit]" in chat to get your TaC:Z weapon kit!

For game balancing purposes, when playing with friends, use only ONE kit at a time. Many weapons are far more powerful than others, and the dyed leather pants coming with each kit determine your armor level by kit. Kits with better guns have less armor. I spent many hours testing with my sister to get this system balanced and functioning! This being said, if you and everyone in your party agree to mix it up, feel free to do so!

Can't find anyone to play with? No worries! Apocalypse Mode is made for singleplayer as well as multiplayer! Join up with as many of your friends (or no friends) as you'd like, claim your kits, and flip the lever in spawn! Now step on any teleporter as you would normally and try to survive as long as you can against 25 murderous, blood-thirsty waves of various creatures...

NOTICE: Once you begin Apocalypse Mode you cannot stop it unless you reset the world! Make sure to make or download backups so you don't have to reinstall the modpack!

This modpack is still a work in progress, but please don't under estimate the amount of time this took. While none of the mods in this modpack are mine, creating Apocalypse Mode by hand took about 20 hours of building and 4 hours of testing (that's litterally a whole day!). If you want proof, dig down near the "Bob sign" (you'll know when you see it) and you'll find the control room. WARNING: The control room is used for spawning mobs as well as store the command blocks. If you want to explore, break the barrier platform that you'll find when you drop down. Continue dropping down and break the redstone block above a repeating command block at ground level that should say "/scoreboard players add 1 Tick 1".
