Ever feel like vanilla minecraft is too easy. feel like the whole survival aspect is just lost within the first few minutes of playing.... feel like your world needs magic in it or some tech..? if so then this is the modpack for you.
when you first spawn you will notice that you don't have as much health as you normally would and that punching a tree wont accomplish anything other than maybe help you release some steam for a split second till you notice that your hand is broken. Btw there is no natural health regen(well somewhat) .... and zombies love the smell of a dying animal(you).
Bird's nests... where? up there.
To start off you are gonna want to gather some food, then get 'plant fibers' by swinging at some grass, next get gravel and turn it into flint, then take the flint and smash it on a hard surface, from that you will get 'flaked flint' which you can use to make a flint hatchet.. now that you are able to get yourself some wood you need to make a 'chopping block'... place wood on it and drive the hatchet into the wood.. from that you will get planks.... also make a 'fire bow' to light a torch. (i need to update this for 1.12)
