Survivalcore (See Description)

Cave Rats have been removed.

This decision was surprisingly hard, as cave rats add a level of difficulty to the caves that is desperately needed. But alas, cave rats proved more trouble than they're worth. Instead, other cave mobs will now spawn with better and better gear as you go deeper into the caves, to compensate for the loss in difficulty. 
Additionally, the spawnrates of gemstones has been further boosted after proven to still be too rare in testing. Effective for new chunks only. 

Desire Paths have been removed due to the undersireable effects they would have on crops and placed blocks. 
The random path blocks were more invasive than immersive. 
New cave biomes have been added! A new ice cave variant, and new ancient sand caves!
