For those looking for a mixture of old, new, and challenge.
Description
This modpack brings back various old features from the Alpha and Beta days of Minecraft into the modern game, some of these features include: The old combat mechanics, the old armor system (only for 1.12 and 1.16 at the moment), the old health system, old mob drops, etc. (Pigs and fish are the only passive mobs you'll be able to get food from!)
(Be sure to install OptiFine as well!)
For 1.16.5, install No Recipe Book port.
For 1.12.2, install AdvancedHUD.
I recommend keeping most of the options the way they are, with the exception of personal settings such as GUI scale, FOV, and controls.
