Note: This is only a small piece of a MUCH larger update I have in the works right now. I have been sitting on this content for a while and figured I would release it as a smaller update since its been a while. Depending on how long the big update takes, I may release another big chunk sometime soon.
Changelog:
New Class: Vampire:
- Weapon: Claws
- 50 skill nodes
- Abilities are more powerful at night
Skill Totems and Curio:
- Removed Skill Totems
- Removed functionality for Curio to get affixes
- Removed Skill Orbs
- Orbs now have dual functions. They can apply/modify Totem Skills on Curio or apply/modify affixes onto weapons and armor
- Massively increased Orb drop rates
- The above changes mean that orbs are now way more useful and way more of them drop.
Shop:
- Replaced the shop mod with a shop mod that I made specifically for Superior. It is a bit rough right now but it will be getting a massive update in the very near future. All currency will automatically be transferred
- Orbs (and many other items) can now be bought up to 30 times but it gets progressively more expensive each time
- Added many new items to the shop
Questline:
- 15+ new bosses
- Reduced the amount of Summoning Altar bosses by allowing their boss structures to spawn in special dimensions. This makes the questline progression feel a lot better
- Fixed some quest soft locks
Keybind overhaul:
- You can now rebind your ability keys and the key tile will display the key you set
- ALL passive abilities can be toggled on or off. Hold R to bring up the radial menu to toggle them.
- This may seem small but its a massive QOL feature for the modpack
Equipment:
- 10+ new modules (Huge thanks to coach_mdl for letting me use their assets from TFC Modular: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/tfc-modular)
- Slightly changed material progression
- Tons of new abilities on modular weapons
- Updated tons of recipes to make many items attainable. This includes the Divine Mold and the Dragon Skin
Misc:
- Removed a bunch of the weaker pets from the skill tree. You will now get to the better pets much faster
- Fixed an infinite parry bug
- Spellbinder Siphon is no longer bound to right click
- Fixed a crash that would happen when opening a chest in minecells
- Replaced gravestone mod with YIGD
- Updated Tabular to have explicit compat with YIGD so now all of your items will go back into the tabs and slots they were in when you died
- Made XP progression a bit slower
