Stone to Tech is a progression-driven modpack focused on structured advancement, quest-guided gameplay, and tightly controlled technology unlocks. You begin with almost nothing and work your way through clearly defined stages into complex automation and high-end systems.
This is not a free-form sandbox — progression is intentional.

⚙️ Core Concept
The pack is built around Game Stages, Recipe Stages, and a fully integrated quest system:
• Content is locked behind progression
• Recipes, items, and entire mods unlock step by step
• Advancement is guided through quests
• Progression defines what you can and cannot do
If something is missing, it is not unlocked yet.

The early game focuses on survival and exploration:
• No instant resource access (No Tree Punching)
• Limited crafting options
• Exploration is required to progress
• Enhanced world generation (YUNG’s, Regions Unexplored)
You are expected to struggle — and overcome it.
⚙️ Mid Game – Systems & Automation
Progression opens the door to mechanical systems:
• Create introduces rotational power and automation
• Tinkers' Construct expands tool crafting
• Infrastructure becomes essential
• Automation gradually replaces manual work
This phase is about building efficient systems.

Endgame technology becomes available through progression:
• Mekanism for large-scale processing and energy
• Refined Storage for digital storage
• Draconic Evolution for high-tier equipment
Nothing here is accessible without progression.
