The green has faded. You walked deeper than the sunlight can reach. You have survived the Solitude only to be swallowed by this suffocating Grey Fog. Every breath feels like a slow agony, and the horizon has vanished. You are not just lost anymore... you are being erased. Survive the mist and what lies within, or be forgotten forever...

👁️ THE PREMISE

Grey Fog is a colorless descent into a suffocating void. If the Green Solitude was about being watched, the Grey Fog is about being forgotten. This level evolves the paranoia of Phase 1, removing your sight and replacing it with a thick, pulsating dread. In this world, the fog is not weather, it is a predator that masks the approach of things that shouldn't exist. Reach the Black Roots before they reach you...

Every shadow in the mist and every muffled sound is a calculated move to break your focus. We’ve designed this experience to feel like an analog horror experience, where the world is dissolving into the mist, and your sanity is the only thing keeping you tethered to reality.

⏳ THE CHALLENGE: PHASE 2

To progress further and reach the Black Roots (where the truth will be unveiled), you must survive 4 Traveling Nights within this fog.

• Survive the Nights: If you sleep through the night or escape to another dimension before dawn, it will not count as a night of travel.
• The End: At the dawn of the fourth and last night of travel you'll unlock the transition.
• The next phase: Only those who survived the Grey Fog are allowed to reach the Black Roots,  an even worse place deeper in the forest where your story will continue, and where the truth is burried (By downloading the phase 3 - Black Roots).

📖 A BURIED NARRATIVE

The history of the Staring Woods grows darker as you sink deeper. You just want to follow your friend's steps but the fog hides more than just trees; it hides the remains of those who failed to capture the truth before you...

Your Journey from the grey fog to the black roots : You don't start with nothing. Your starting gear contains :

• Your stained notebook where you confessed yourself : An ashy notebook where you wrote down your last despairs and where your last goal in the black roots is revealed.
• Orange Pills : if you witness a strange man staring at you in the dark or any abnormal event related, take your pills immediately before losing your mind.
• An armor : sneak to turn on it's detection device.
• Survival Tools for the Mist :
  
  • A flashlight
  • A cross to ward off evil spirits
  • Medical supplies
  • A jukebox that your friend used for his discs
  • A map
• Your friends backpack containing the following :
  • His music disc. You don't recognize the melody anymore...
  • The haunted flesh of the creatures that were in the eggs, dead by your fault
  • Your knife, now stained with blood
