What is decked out? This is a Minecraft minigame made originally completely using vanilla redstone by TangoTek in season 9 of Hermitcraft. It is truly an amazing feat - with redstone stretching down to bedrock!
So how does it play? - This is a dungeon delving, deck building, loot collecting, exploration game that is in no way easy! Each time you play, you will learn something new, and get better tactics, allowing you to delve deeper and deeper. You will collect gold and embers allowing you to get better cards in your deck, which in turn allow for safer and deeper runs.
Safer how? - As you go through the dungeon, it will change around you - passages ways will close and traps become active. This is called your hazard level and this can be blocked from increasing using certain cards. There is also 'Clank' which is essentially how loud you have been and can also be effected by your cards. Once you hit a maximum amount of clank, the dungeon will enrage and vex's will come after you! - Your cards will play randomly during your runs and there are plenty to discover or different rarities!
Your goal each run it to follow the compass direction to the hidden artifact's location which is randomised each run (and depending on how hard you choose your run, will depend how deep the location is). Once you find it, throw your compass on the floor and if you are in the right place you will receive the artifact, which you now must escape the dungeon with to claim any loot!
There is a great video by Tango I HIGHLY recommend you watch below. This game has a lot of depth, and secrets to uncover and I'll be honest, I've been playing it a tonne in these last few days which has made me take longer setting this up for you guys!
This version of the game has been enhanced thanks to rindouuu and their DeckedOut Expansion pack they made (a new alternate level, a forge to craft special cards, a black market to find and more!). I have also added some extra functionality such as allowing for anyone to spectate the current person playing!
I will be leaving this running for a long time as it uses very little resources so hop in and out as you please!
You can stop watching at 7 mins 45s as we will not be having a competition currently.
