SoulsLike Legacy Act 1.1.3
What's new
Major Update — 80+ Mods Removed
This is a major update for the modpack, featuring significant changes focused primarily on improving performance, reducing unnecessary content, balancing progression, and preparing the modpack for future Acts.
80+ Mods Removed
More than 80 mods have been removed, with most of them being additional content that was not directly related to the main questline or overall progression.
This includes several large structure and world-generation mods, including Integrated Dungeons and Structures and other related mods, as well as Create-related content and various smaller QoL, miscellaneous, and mob-focused mods.
The main purpose of this removal is to prevent the modpack from becoming unnecessarily heavy as development continues. Future Acts will introduce a substantial amount of new content, so reducing unnecessary mods now will help keep the pack more focused and manageable in future updates.
Performance Improvements
The primary goal of this update is to improve the overall performance of the modpack.
By removing unnecessary content, large structures, additional world-generation systems, and other unused features, the modpack should have a lighter overall setup and provide a better foundation for future content.
The goal is not simply to reduce the mod count, but to ensure that the remaining mods have a meaningful purpose within the SoulsLike Legacy experience.
Stage 1 Quest Changes
The quests in Stage 1 have received several balance changes.
Early progression has been adjusted to provide a more balanced starting experience while maintaining the intended difficulty and progression of the modpack.
New Ghost Kit
A new kit called Ghost has also been added.
Ghost does not provide any additional statistics or bonuses, but it also does not have any negative effects or debuffs. It uses the normal Minecraft player statistics without additional class-based modifications.
The kit was specifically created for solo players.
Ghost allows a player to experience the modpack alone while having access to the full range of weapons rather than being restricted by the normal class system.
However, Ghost is strictly intended for solo play. Using the Ghost kit while playing as part of a team is considered cheating, as the kit is specifically designed to compensate for the restrictions and challenges of playing the modpack alone.
If you are playing in a single-player world and find that boss health is too high for your preferred experience, you can also disable the Mob Health Multipliers mod.
New Additions
A small number of new mods have been added to replace some of the removed content.
These additions were selected because they are relatively lightweight and integrate better with the current modpack, progression, and questline.
Overall, this update focuses on performance, balance, and long-term development.
With future Acts planned to introduce significantly more content, this cleanup will help ensure that the modpack can continue expanding without accumulating unnecessary weight.
