Description
Noxxastraël was once one of the brightest archangels in the firmament, guardian of celestial secrets and guardian of the boundary between light and shadow. Forged in the clarity of the stars, he guided lost souls and spoke with a voice that even the gods listened to in silence.
But his knowledge became thirst, and his light a burden. He scanned the forbidden abyss, hoping to pierce the veil of the ultimate end. Then the High Spheres judged him: for pride and disobedience, he was cast into the Lower Realms, fallen, his name stricken from the sacred hymnals.
Centuries passed in oblivion, until a world ravaged by chaos unknowingly called forth the ancient glow. Noxxastraël, broken but awake, emerged from the ashes no longer as an angel, nor quite a demon, but as a twilight entity, holding within him the memory of heaven and the scars of the fall.
His return is neither salvation nor damnation. It is the prelude to a new equilibrium - one in which even the heavens will have to learn to doubt.
