Snek Pack

Snek Pack is a different kind of kitchen sink pack. This pack is designed to increase the difficulty of survival while still allowing you to progress past these difficulties though the use of tech. Snek Pack also includes mods not usually featured in major kitchen sink packs, aimed at having fun or being different through mods such as Jurassicraft or more player models.

Many large mods are still making the transition to this version of Minecraft and may be added in the pack later or are currently in the pack to add their worldgen. This means that mods like Buildcraft and Forestry are present in the pack with their alpha builds. I will be monitoring these mods closely and if they are causing instability for the pack, they are subject to be removed.

That said, some machines in the pack don't yet support JEI and those recipes will not show unless they are made in a crafting table. As such, I recommend you rely on the mod wikis for Buildcraft, Nuclearcraft, and Jurassicraft when you hit a dead end. The respective wikis can be found here -  Nuclearcraft Buildcraft Jurassicraft

Tough as Nails and Spice of Life are present in this pack and it is recommended to start exploring early to find harvestcraft crops and build campfires when you are cold. Temperature and thirst affect the player so try to stay in temperate biomes until you are better equipped to regulate temperature. This pack also includes Tough Expansion providing players with more efficient ways to regulate temperature through the use of RF. The portable temperature regulator will become your best friend later in the pack. Tips on maintaining temperature and thirst can be found here.
