1.3.0 - The Promised Update - Change Log

 

It's not Spring yet, but it's always a good time for a bit of cleaning. With months of feedback from players, we've found that some mods just aren't played with very often, have some overlap with other mods, or are just not fun to play with (looking at you genetic animals). So we've removed a bunch of those mods (after some discussion).

 

We feel that this was a necessary step to take before adding *new* mods. Removing some mods will reduce the overall footprint of the modpack allow it to load a little faster and make more space in your memory for some new mods. We've looked at a number of suggestions and have decided on a few mods that we want to add!

 

We strongly recommend that you start a new world to clean out stuff from removed mods and to generate blocks and oil from new mods. You can continue with an old world, but you will need to travel further out to find new stuff. You will also want to manually enable the two new resource packs in your settings menu.

 

Changes:
  • Added new quests for EvilCraft and PneumaticCraft!
  • Quests had to be modified to account for the removal of a bunch of mods.
  • Add new quests where they were missing before (torch master) and add new quests for new mods.
  • Fix Fancy Menu! Thanks so much from SirOMGitsYOU who helped me finally squish this bug.
  • Fix prismarine slabs recipe output from prismarine bricks to regular prismarine.
  • Fix sleep percent by disabling Charm's "Improved Sleep" module.
