Slimes Resurgence 2.0.0 - A total rework!

Heads up, this one's a biggie! As previously mentioned, Slimes Resurgence has been completely re-written from the ground up. Unfortunately, this means a lot of content has been removed; however, it's more special than ever before!

Let's take a deep dive to see what's new:

Core Changes:

Levelling

• Your player level now has a direct link to Simply Skills.
• Player Level is calculated using Simply Skills and a new custom level system.
• Each level gained will provide you with 1 Ability Point to spend in Simply Skills.
• The XP curve has been completely reworked to be more challenging at higher levels.
• New max level is now 99 (previously 65).
• Maximum Ability Point increase from 32 to 42.

Some items now have level requirements, including but not limited to:

• Vanilla Minecraft
• RPG Series
• Supplementaries
• Knight Quest
• Graveyard
• Deeper & Darker
• AdventureZ
• End's Phantasm

More mods will be added to this list at a later date.

World Generation

• Tectonic and Terralith have been removed from the pack.
• Lithosphere is now the main world generation mod.
• Biome dithering is now provided by Pufferfish's Biome Dither mod.

Edicts

• The Edicts of Ithren are deeply tied to the lore of Velmoria.
• Edicts are unlocked through various quests and advancements and challenges.
• Edicts can be viewed in the new Edicts menu in the character menu.
• Edicts can be used in combination with each other to unlock different aspects of the game.
• Configurable via config files. Default edict combinations are provided.

Events

• Real world events have made their way to Velmoria!
• Events are hard-coded into the game and will automatically appear on their respective dates.
• Events are customizable via the config files.
• The events system grants seasonal currency at configurable intervals.
• Themed welcome messages with five style options.
• Debug Commands: /eventdebug and /eventcheck for troubleshooting.
• Fixed "0-24" active hours and server startup activation.
• Per-event currency settings and notification preferences.

Lore Changes

• The Lore Book is now its own system and is no longer built on Patchouli.
• Unlocking an Ancient Page will automatically add its entry to your Lore Book.
• Your Lore Book will now tell you how many lore entries you're missing, so you can keep track of everything.
• Ancient Pages are available as quest and advancement rewards.
• SlimesAPI is fully integrated through config files, so this will include lore from any source.

Other Changes

• Updated to Fabric Loader 0.18.1.
• Relics have been removed from the game indefinitely.
• Cosmetic Overrides have also been removed from the game, although they will return in some form at a later date.
• Heroic Challenges have been removed from the game indefinitely.
• Resurgence Affinities is now a hard dependency.
• Removed Intel chipset false positive warning in Crash Assistant.
• All content from Resurgence Abilities and Slimes Attributes has been removed.
• Added vanilla minecraft content: Spring to Life, Copper Age, Bundles of Bravery, Armored Paws and Bats & Pots.
• Seasonal Wanderers now despawn after 1 hour, regardless of player intervention or server reload.

UI Changes:

Character Panel (Stats)

• The character panel has been reworked to include Reputation gain from Resurgence Affinities.
• Tooltip now displays attribute icons at the start of each stat and current pledged god.
• Added more attribute icons to the character panel tooltip.

New Loot Tiers

Loot rarities have a new structure:

• Common
• Uncommon
• Rare
• Legendary
• Exotic

Other

• Lore Page has been renamed to "Ancient Page" and now unlocks a Lore Entry.
• The icon database class now provides all icons for the pack.
• Updated Resurgence UI to match Vanilla Backport's namespace changes.
• Updated the textures of Better Nether.

Slimes SMP Changes

The Festival of Glacis: Active from December 15th through January 5th! As winter's grip tightens across Velmoria, the ancient Spirits of Glacis descend from their frozen peaks to celebrate the season of ice and snow. The Festival of Glacis is a time of wonder, generosity, and winter magic—a celebration where the boundary between the mortal realm and the crystalline spirit world grows thin with frost.

What to expect:

Seasonal Currency: Candy Canes

• Collect 5 Candy Canes every 20 minutes while online during the festival.
• Use your Candy Canes at the special Festival Merchant to purchase exclusive winter items.
• Candy Canes materialize as a gift from the ice spirits themselves!

Daily Spirit Gifts

• Receive a daily gift from the Spirits of Glacis.
• Log in each day to claim your Raw Anima blessing.
• Gifts reset at midnight—don't miss a day!

Festival Merchant

Visit the Festival Merchant to spend your Candy Canes on: Ice & Snow Items:

• Snowballs, Ice, Packed Ice, Blue Ice
• Powder Snow Buckets

Winter Provisions:

• Cooked Beef, Porkchop, and Mutton
• Golden Apples
• Festive Cake

Festival Decorations:

• Lanterns and Soul Lanterns
• Blue and White Candles
• Light up your home for the season!

Special Items:

• Raw Anima (4 Candy Canes for 10 pieces)
• Ender Pearls (4 Candy Canes for 12 pearls)
