We're a very small team, with myself building most of the pack, questline, and scripting.  There are still a ton of things that we would like to do in this modpack. We still need voice actors to help complete the storyline, another writer, and serious play testers that will diligently provide feedback.  If you're interested in helping with this pack in any way, please reach out on Discord:

Server Pack

Server packs are back!  It's been a long time, so please be patient while I weed out the process again.  Please let me know in the Discord if you encounter issues or need help. Othlon (And Slack's) Discord

Please note: due to differences in server environments, it's best for server operators to pre-configure and install Forge to their server before importing the contents of the server pack.  I recommend an 8Gb server or larger, but this will depend on the usual factors (players, world size, ticking block use, server specs, etc).  The pack currently uses Forge 43.3.13, which is freely available from Forge.

Performance Tips

Due to the insane amount of tech in this pack, players and especially servers could encounter lag and / or TPS issues once later-game operations are active and loaded.  The below is advice for helping maintain a healthy tickrate while developing your operation.  NONE of these are intended to be prohibitive or tell players how to play, but knowing what has the most impact helps a lot.

  • Build Clutches and redstone control into your machines.  Being able to turn off machines helps a lot with tickrate and graphical lag. AE2 networks can also control these Clutches via the ME Emitter.  Combining these with a crafting card allows the network to automatically activate the machine when an item it makes is crafting in the network.
  • Minimize fluid pipe usage (Create and Mekanism).  Using Mekanism is marginally better than Create (due to extra pumps in Create), but they still have a heavy impact.  Using AE2 networks, Quantum Entangeloporters, or Fluid Teleporters from Create: Ender Transmission saves a lot of TPS spent on fluid pipes, especially longer ones.
  • Minimize Logistical Transporter usage.  Again, replacing these with AE2 networks, Quantum Entangeloporters, or Item Teleporters can save a lot of TPS.  Longer pipes, more complex pipes, and color coded sorting systems quickly add to the impact.
  • Replace Create Shafts with Void Motors from Create: Utilities.  These are wireless sources of rotational energy, and can save a TON of TPS power spent on Shafts and long transmission systems.
  • Upgrade your Botany Pots! The whole reason behind having high tier Botany Pots is to reduce how many players need to have.  This usually saves on other logic blocks as well like Hoppers and Logistical Transporters.
